Mina is built with privacy at its core. We believe your learning data belongs to you and you alone. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Mina app.

What Data We Collect

Stored on Your Device Only

All of the following never leaves your device:

• Flashcard content you create
• Study progress and review history
• App preferences and settings
• Your rank, XP, and achievements

iCloud Sync (Premium Feature)

If you enable iCloud Sync:

• Data is synced to your personal iCloud account
• Uses Apple's CloudKit with end-to-end encryption
• Only you can access this data

What We DON'T Collect

We never collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone)
• Location data
• Usage analytics or tracking
• Advertising identifiers
• Any data for third parties

Third-Party Services

Text-to-Speech: Uses iOS native APIs, no external servers

iCloud Sync: Uses Apple CloudKit, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy

App Store: Apple may collect analytics per their policies

Your Rights

You can:

• Delete all local data anytime
• Export your decks as CSV
• Disable iCloud Sync
• Request data deletion
